About

Elephants for Peace is a global participatory art movement dedicated to making peace visible through the powerful symbol of the elephant—the largest and most majestic creature living in harmony with its surroundings. We unite people of all ages and backgrounds, inviting everyone to contribute creative works featuring elephants, whether drawings, sculptures, films, or textiles, as a collective statement for peace.

Mission

Our mission is to empower communities by transforming sites of conflict into spaces of freedom, hope, and unity. Through collaborative art installations and events, we give shape to the desire for peace that exists in people worldwide, turning individual contributions into a visible movement for harmony and understanding.

Main objectives of EfP

The main goals of Elephants for Peace Community e.V. are to make peace visible as a shared and powerful movement, encourage broad participation in creative peace projects, and break through the belief that individuals are powerless in the face of conflict.

Main Objectives

  • Use the elephant symbol to unite people and demonstrate the strength of nonviolent action.
  • Empower individuals by offering open platforms for artistic and social engagement around peace.
  • Transform feelings of isolation regarding peace efforts into collective action by making every person’s peace intention visible to others.
  • Foster inclusion and hope in communities affected by conflict, exclusion, or loneliness through creative collaboration.

By achieving these aims, the organization builds a global movement where peace is celebrated, acted upon, and experienced collectively.
